Robin Hanson has been referred to as a “Renaissance” man, skilled as a painter, sculptor, photographer and writer.

If one were to visit Robin’s studio or the Hanson Art Gallery, one would think that there must be at least a dozen different artists exhibiting their work.

His inspiration has been triggered by history, rare beauty, and stories in art, exploration of the mind or just the fun in painting makes Robin’s art work very special.

Robin has developed a high level of skill in his paintings. Robin applies his skill to painting wildlife, scenery, seascapes, landscapes, portraits, in a variety of styles, impressionistic, abstract, surrealism, and photo realism.

Robin Hanson the sculptor; works in a number of mediums. His work as a chainsaw sculptor is exhibited throughout the local communities however every sculpture tells a story or is related to an environmental cause.

Robin also works in clay to create bronze sculptures. He has completed an eight foot t bronze sculpture of former Prime Minister of Canada, R.B.Bennett, which is currently awaiting its placement on Parliament Hill, Ottawa. This is a gift from Robin to the citizens of Canada.

He was also commissioned to do an eight foot sculpture of Walter Hachborn, President and founder on Home Hardware which adorns the entrance to corporate headquarters in St. Jacob’s, Ontario.

Robin Hanson the story teller, has written many short stories, written and produced a play, written and self published a best seller book, BEFORE ITS GONE.

Robin is self taught and has no formal training in the arts.

Robin’s post secondary education: Civil Engineering Technology. He is the founder of Roblynn Home Hardware, Oromocto, builder and operator of four river boats. Pilot, scuba diver and property developer.
